What is a BIO Product?
In order to define the organic products, one must first of all clarify the source of these products, how they are grown, and which are actually the ingredients of these products. Thus, the ingredients of these products are grown without using pesticides, synthetic fertilizers, without genetically modified organisms or ionic radiations. The meat, the eggs and the milk are taken from animals that are not being fed with antibiotics or growth hormones.
The world programs and organizations define the term organic as follows:
Organic food is produced by farmers who are using natural resources and preservatives obtained from nature in order to supply quality products for the next generations. The organic meat, the poultry products and the milk come from animals that were not administrated antibiotics or growth hormones. The organic food is obtained without using the conventional pesticides, synthetic fertilizers, bioenergy or ionic radiations. Before being named and labeled as organic, a product must be certified by the European certification bodies, ECO CERT, BDIH, DEMETER or BCS OKO GARANTIE, the only European bodies accredited to guarantee the standards to be met in order for a product to become an organic product.
How do we know that a product is BIO?
In Europe, on the organic products’ labels, one may notice the logos of the European certification bodies, responsible with checking the accuracy of the information presented on the packing of the organic products and with establishing whether a product is ORGANIC, BIO or BIO-ORGANIC.
The toxic chemicals present in the non-BIO cosmetics are submitting us to a MAXIMUM CANCER RISK!
According to the estimates related to the daily use of cosmetics, three cosmetic products are used for babies and children, ten products are used by men while the women are using six cosmetic products and thirteen make-up products. Each one of these products contains at least two cancerous substances, which signifies that each day we are submitting our children to six different cancerous substances, while we are submitting ourselves to thirty-eight such substances.
Even if the ingredients are listed on the products, there is no warning related to the risk of cancer appearance due to these ingredients!
